Job Position: Shipping and Receiving - 2nd Shift Picker/Packer
Location: Lowell, MI 49331
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Shift: 2nd shift, 2pm to 12: 30am (Monday through Thursday)
Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Picker/Packers to join our warehouse team in Lowell, Michigan. This role involves accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment, as well as receiving and organizing incoming inventory. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and the ability to operate various equipment labeler, conveyors.
Responsibilities
Pick orders accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
Load and unload shipments onto a conveyor or skid
Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated warehouse areas
Assist with order fulfillment processes, including order picking and packing for e-commerce orders
Experience
Previous warehouse experience is preferred, especially in distribution centers or manufacturing environments
Familiarity with warehouse management systems
Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures including order picking & packing, stock management, and load/unload processes
Ability to use RF scanners and other warehouse technology effectively
Basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements
Prior experience with e-commerce fulfillment or warehouse distribution is advantageous
