Accounting Specialist, Full-time
We are hiring for a full-time Accounting Specialist. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong accounting knowledge who is responsible for performing daily accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll and cash receipts as well as supporting the Director of Finance.
Performance Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Assist with payroll and reporting
Assist with benefit administration
Prepare documents, spreadsheets and data entry
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies
Provide support to the Director of Finance
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Business Management required.
2. Five years prior work experience in related field/position preferred.
3. High Degree of proficiency in office procedures, typing and use of technology.
4. Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
5. Knowledge and practical experience regarding computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel and Google Platforms.
6. Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and make decisions in accordance with established policies and regulations.
7. Good health, high moral character and good attendance record.
8. Polite, courteous and tactful with the public.
