Arch Staffing and Consulting has partnered with an organization whose innovation has secured their place as the world's largest manufacturer and distributor of food packaging and food service products. We are looking for a Shipper/Regrind Machine Operator to join this growing organization located in Summerstown, ON. This will be a 3 month contract to permanent hire for the successful Candidate!

The successful Candidate will be responsible for processing all incoming/outgoing stock and finished goods as per internal and external needs.

  • Monday through Friday work week; 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
  • Training will Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Competitive wages; $21/hr + $0.65/hr shift premium

  • $200/every 2 years for prescription glasses or safety glasses

What a typical day may look like for you: Operate a lift truck/forklift
  • Separate products for further classification
  • Load and unload trailers
  • Check product before classification
  • Completed all mandatory paperwork
  • Put product in designated racks
  • Main cleanliness of the warehouse and raw material areas at all times

What you will require to be successful: Valid forklift license 6 - 12 months direct experience in this role*
  • Knowledge of SAP system
  • Strong math skills
  • Work in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift heavy items
  • Ability to work in hot conditions in the summer
  • Like repetitive work
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be compliant with all aspects of GMP, food safety and quality initiatives
  • Very noisy environment - PPE is mandatory
  • MUST have a valid drivers license and car - no transit
