Arch Staffing & Consulting Canada is excited to be recruiting in Calgary, Alberta! We are teaming up with a Leading Manufacturer of Building Products to find dedicated and qualified Service Technician to join their tight-knit family.

Reporting to the Service Supervisor, the Service Technician 3 will be expected to travel to customer locations throughout Edmonton and the surrounding areas to perform Window and Door repair work as well as resolve customer inquiries. The Service Technician 3 will also provide on-the-job coaching and mentoring for Field Service Technicians Levels 1 and 2.

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

· 8+ years of experience as a Field Service Technician Level 2 or equivalency

· Fundamental knowledge of door and window installation

· Humidity and moisture control knowledge

· Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted, 100 lbs with assistance

· Ability to perform work from heights using ladders and scaffolding

· Good manual dexterity

· Strong written and verbal communication, math, and customer service skills

· Positive attitude and ability to interact in a positive manner with others

· Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driver's abstract

· Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated

· Ability to read and interpret work orders

· Coaching and mentoring skills

Job Specifications:

· Remove and replace jamb extensions on PVC and wood windows, door slabs, door lights and astragals, and hardware as required on all Ply Gem products

· Leak investigation and assessment

· Humidity investigation and assessment

· Perform multi-point adjustments

· Repair/replace patio door panels on PVC and wood doors; provide door adjustments

· Application of Simulated Divided Lites

· Understand and perform field water tests and remedial repairs as required

· Respond to complex customer inquiries through troubleshooting and diagnosing

· Provide exceptional customer service to clients

· Document and inform Customer Service Department of service related issues

· Generate reports and feedback for Quality department with clear description of the malfunction or defect

· Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections, maintain required vehicle logs, and communicate with Supervisor if problems

· Operate service vehicle in safe manner and comply with company and government motor vehicle requirements

· Use of specialized equipment including, but not limited to: suction cups, chop saw, humidity gauges, 6' level, table saw, router, and extension ladder

· Perform other duties as assigned
