Job Description


Arch Staffing and Consulting is looking for a Quality Lead for one of our clients in the Grand Rapids area.  The Quality Lead  will focus on all aspects of the quality related requirements for our customers and suppliers. This position will lead a team focused on providing exceptional response to our customers as well as monitoring and managing our suppliers to ensure our company is provided with high quality components that do not require rework. This position is the primary point of contact for all customer quality related issues.
  • Lead all root cause and corrective actions initiated by our customers drive them to closure ensuring all customers service requirements are met.
  • Manage customer returned parts process. Ensure all returned parts are managed quickly and efficiently to ensure our customers receives replacement parts quickly. Track all open issues using standard practices to ensure no data gets lost and information is transferred quickly.
  • Lead all quality related meetings with our customers and act as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues.
  • Manage all incoming inspections to ensure no components reach the production floor before being reviewed.
  • Work closes with customers to improve the invoicing process
  • Review and provide dispositions on all customer CSR' s and invoices.
  • Work closely with production quality to ensure any non-conformities are reported on the floor and is tracked back to the responsible party.
  • Develop quality technicians to ensure continued professional growth
  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
  • Qualifications:
  • 5 years experience in quality assurance
  • Experience in the the industrial equipment sector.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of SAP and MS Office
  • Excellent problem solving skills
