Overview and Responsibilities
Summary
We are seeking a Provider Services Specialist who will be responsible for the processing of all Medicare/Medicaid applications, including re-enrollment applications, changes of address and any other pertinent change of information for Medicare/Medicaid provider numbers
REMOTE Work from Home after successful completion of in office training. Work from Home with management approval after 2 months - 6 months of training IN the OFFICE and are meeting expectations. MUST LIVE IN THE CENTRAL FLORIDA AREA and within 60 miles of the Orlando Office.
Complete all Medicare and/or Medicaid applications accurately and timely, including but not limited to enrollments, change of addresses, etc

Complete all Medicare and/or Medicaid applications accurately and timely, including but not limited to enrollments, change of addresses, etc
- Document all conversations with field personnel related to provider number status
- Inform manager of any issues or problems related to the provider number status Maintain provider services files
- Follow up on outstanding issues consistently to ensure timely filing of applications
- Maintain activity log
- A two year degree from an accredited college; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- General knowledge of contracts and forms is necessary
- Previous relevant experience with Medicare and Medicaid policy and procedures is helpful
- General office skills: organizational abilities, attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, with computer skills to include MS Word and Excel
