Job Description

We are looking for a Production Helper (Evenings) to join this growing organization located in Summerstown, ON.
The successful Candidates will be responsible to assist in the production of quality products by ensuring necessary materials are available and the work areas are kept clear.

- Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Competitive wages; $19.50/hr + $0.65/hr shift premium

What a typical day may look like for you:
- Comply with all EHS policies, procedures, and safe work instructions in place
- Retrieve and move material with the jigger lift truck
- Furnish the rolls necessary for production
- Assist the operators in lifting boxes of finished goods and place on skid
- Remove the waste material from the machines, empty garbage cans of the plastic and place in the cardboard skids
- Weigh the cages of waste plastic quarterly
- Handle various tools and material
- Maintain clean premises in the production area and around the machines
- Perform all other jobs or tasks as assigned by the team lead
- Perform roll changes
- Responsible for compliance with all aspects of GMP, food safety and quality initiatives.
What you will require to be successful in this role:
- Minimum 6 months of factory/manufacturing related experience
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to lift/push/pull heavy items up to 15lbs
- Excellent organization and record keeping
- Quick on your feet and good decision making ability
- Ability to work in hot conditions in the summer
- Must be compliant with all aspects of GMP, food safety and quality initiatives
- Very noisy environment - PPE is mandatory
- MUST have valid drivers license and vehicle - no transit
