Job Summary:
The IT Projects Manager (ITPM) is responsible for driving multiple client projects as well as internal initiatives. Reporting directly to the CIO, the ITPM will directly interface with clients, Company’s outsourced/virtual IT Directors and cross functional delivery and support teams. Project types are widely varied and generally include: SharePoint, cloud migrations, Wi-Fi buildouts, VoIP installs, Telecom/ISP upgrades, desktop replacements, line-of-business software deployments, mergers/acquisitions, BPO.

Responsibilities:
- Integrate with the Client stakeholders and Company cross-functional teams to lead and communicate the status of projects
- Write scopes for proposals and project plans
- Plan and convey resource needs to internal department heads
- Implement Project Management tools within MS365/SharePoint/Teams
- Lead the Company team of virtual IT Directors in project management
- Understand the contractual, financial, and relationship arrangements of the projects
- Ensure the overall momentum, timely execution, and quality of project deliverables
- Monitor progress and predict potential blockers
- Apply experience and innovative thinking to produce solutions
- Create and maintain project documentation from inception through completion
- Ensure technical documentation is submitted to the company knowledge base by the project SMEs.
- Plan and confirm user acceptance testing
- Identify and communicate out-of-scope items and opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field of study.
- At least 10 years of IT Director / Project Management experience
- Project management certification such as CAPM or PMP (preferred)
- Experience in managing Microsoft 365 projects involving SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Teams
- Experience in managing cloud, infrastructure, and VoIP projects
- Travel to client locations as needed.
