Arch Staffing and Consulting is recruiting for journeyman electricians in several cities throughout the United States.  Our client services provides interior and exterior lighting and electrical services for major national retailers, including 5 of the nation’s largest retailers.

We have direct hire opportunities for electricians to service different areas in the country. You will be assigned a location based on the location of your home base. This position requires traveling and is quite autonomous. Approximately 50% of the service calls are in greater metropolitan areas and possibly within a 3-hour radius of your home. When the service calls are outside a 1 hour driving radius, the job requires staying in a hotel Monday-Friday.

Service work orders will be scheduled to team member, via internet, who will work remote from home office with a local storage unit as a base of operations. Team member will work closely with our dispatcher and customer service representatives to ensure assigned work orders are addressed accurately and in a timely fashion.

Our job is to troubleshoot electrical and lighting systems to make sure that all our customer stores are 100% operational. The job includes a very good understanding of electrical theory, lighting, trouble shooting and lamp and ballast knowledge.
We maintain an inventory of frequent use electrical items, including over 150 different lights and ballasts per service crew. We replace electrical and lighting components for existing layouts, as well as installation of new equipment. Electrical knowledge is a must and candidate must have at least a journeyman electrician license.
